In 1988, Ed Snider had a dream to build a new state-of-the-art facility for the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers, a place for everyone. That dream became a reality in the summer of 1996 when the doors were first opened at the CoreStates Center, now known as the Wachovia Center.
