FedEx field is the home of the Washington Redskins football team, Super Bowl champions in 1982, 1987 and 1991. When the stadium was built in 1997, the team moved here from RFK to the disappointment of their fans who had been watching them at the old stadium for years. However, the loyal Skins fans followed and found that the stadium is more than equipped to accommodate their needs.
